System Administrator/Developer

Location: Boston, USA

The System Administrator is responsible for building and maintaining the stability and supportability of IT solutions. You will plan, develop, research, and manage all technological resources of the infrastructure in the company.

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science, information systems or other related field
  • two or more years systems administration experience in managing enterprise Unix/Linux environments
  • experience with virtualization frameworks
  • experience with the following languages: Shell, Python, SQL

Further desired skills and experiences

  • proven ability to support and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Apache based server and application environments, including deployment, patch management, documentation, monitoring and problem solving
  • experience working with BuildBot, SonarQube, JIRA and Confluence
  • familiarity with git revision control systems
  • ability to successfully analyze and document information workflows
  • independent, efficient, and team-oriented working style

Travel

Travel throughout North America will be required, along with occasional travel to our head office in Germany.
