Juan F. Rodriguez
Mr. Rodriguez joined Cognitec's Advisory Board in 2009. He currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of OPKO, a multi-national pharmaceutical and diagnostics company. Mr. Rodriguez has also served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Administration Officer at Kos Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Kos"), where he was instrumental in Kos' 1997 IPO and subsequent 2007 $4 billion sale to Abbott Laboratories, Inc. Prior to joining Kos, Mr. Rodriguez was employed by Arthur Andersen, LLP.
Eduardo Marinho Christoph
Mr. Marinho has been a member of Cognitec's advisory board since 2011. With a background in physics, he started his career in 1993 working for the DØ experiment at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL, USA. Mr. Marinho has served as the CEO of EREA Participações e Investimentos Ltda. since 1999. From 2008 to 2011, he was a member of the board of directors of Infoglobo Comunicações S/A.
Alexandre Fernandes e Souza
Mr. Fernandes joined Cognitec's Advisory Board in 2009. Mr. Fernandes became a member of the investment banking team at Rio Bravo Investimentos, S.A. ("Rio Bravo"), a Brazilian investment manager, in 2006 through the acquisition of Mercatto Venture Partners ("MVP"). Prior to MVP, Mr. Fernandes was employed as a senior private equity analyst for Albion Alliance, and as a senior equities analyst at Bozano, Simonsen, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Ativa CTVM.
Rich Wright leads the Advanced Technology & Innovation organization at Rotary & Mission Systems, a division of Lockheed Martin, and is responsible for the development of the technical business strategy, technology investments, and partnerships with commercial industry, government science labs and academia. He is a member of the Lockheed Martin Technology Sub Council and Advisory Group. In the past, Mr. Wright successfully performed various executive P&L roles, most recently delivering engineering solutions and services to the DoD in several countries within South West Asia. He joined the Cognitec Advisory Board in 2016.
Dr. Jürgen Pampus
Dr. Jürgen Pampus held positions as a team leader and consultant at Control Data Corp. before joining the scientific computing department at Siemens and leading international sales. Here one of his successes was the market introduction and sales of neurocomputing products. At Siemens Nixdorf Advanced Technologies GmbH, he started up the biometrics department in 1995. From January 1998, he was a sales director for biometric systems at plettac electronic security GmbH. Dr. Pampus also serves on the Biometrics Institute Board of Directors. He is a co-founder of Cognitec.
